Moving house? Don't let the movers touch your AC. A bad disconnect loses the refrigerant and kinks the copper — a far bigger problem than the move itself.
Relocating an air conditioner is a technical job, not a lifting job. Done properly it starts with pumping the refrigerant down into the outdoor unit before disconnecting — a step that takes minutes and saves you a full recharge. Most people without training simply open the connections and vent the entire charge to atmosphere.
Pump-down before disconnect
We close the suction valve and run the unit until the refrigerant collects in the outdoor condenser, then close the second valve and disconnect. The charge stays with you and no full recharge is needed after the move.
Protecting the copper
We cap and seal the copper ends against dust and moisture, and avoid sharp bends, which permanently restrict flow.
Refitting
At the new location we re-run the lines, vacuum the system, release the charge, set the drain fall and test cooling by measurement — exactly as for a new installation.
When extra refrigerant is needed
If the new line run is longer, or there was an existing leak, we may need to top up the charge. We tell you and agree it with you before doing it.

Questions about this service
Can you move the unit the same day?
In most cases yes, within our area. We remove from the old location and refit at the new one the same day, unless the new place needs electrical provision or a fresh line run.
Will I lose the refrigerant when moving my AC?
Not if pump-down is done properly before disconnecting. Loss happens when connections are opened without pump-down, which is what untrained handlers do.
Do you move units between cities?
We handle removal and refitting within Riyadh. Intercity transport can be coordinated, but our field work is focused on Riyadh.
How long does removal and refitting take?
Removal takes around 45 minutes and refitting two to three hours. It is usually all completed the same day.
